Chris Hemsworth is coming to Manila in June for 'Extraction 2' premiere

This is the best surprise!

Chris Hemsworth, who returns as Tyler Rake in “Extraction 2,” is coming to Manila on June 5.

The actor teased fans about his visit in Netflix's announcement video.

“I’ll be flying to Manila this June for the premiere of ‘Extraction 2,’ where I play Tyler Rake. I don’t want you to miss out so please come join me. It’ll be fun.”

Chris expressed his excitement and added, “Can’t wait to see you all there soon. Take care.”

Director Sam Hargrave will join Chris for the Asia-Pacific red carpet premiere of the action and adventure sequel.

The venue and more event details have yet to be announced.

After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.

Also starring in the film are Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili. It is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo.

“Extraction 2” premieres on June 16 on Netflix.
