'Dune: Part 2' trailer sets up Arrakis for war
Looks like we're getting more action in the sequel of "Dune."
Warner Bros. just released the trailer for "Dune: Part 2," and things get exciting: Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) manages to ride a sandworm, he gathers the Fremen and they prepare to revolt, and he kisses Chani (Zendaya).
It also shows glimpses of the other parties involved in the intergalactic power struggle: the Bene Gesserit, the Harkonnen, and Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh).
Other actors set to appear in the film are Austin Butler, who will play the Baron of Harkonnen's nephew, Feyd-Rautha, and Christopher Walken, who will play Emperor Shaddam IV.
“Dune” was adapted from Frank Herbert’s legendary 1965 novel of the same name. It follows the Atreides family as they move to the desert planet Arrakis as its new rulers.
"Dune: Part 2" will hit cinemas on November 1. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
