Precious Paula Nicole bags Breakout Star award; Marina Summers, Eva Le Queen, Prince nominated at WOWIE Awards 2023

Our Filipino drag queens are going international!
On Wednesday, World of Wonder, the producer of Drag Race franchise, announced its nominees for the WOWIE Awards 2023.
Precious Paula Nicole is named winner for the Breakout Star category, along with nine other winners from several Drag Race franchises, including Admira Thunderpussy, Danny Beard, Drag Couenne, Giselle Lullaby, LA Diamond, Matt Rogers, Paloma, Spankie Jackzon, and Stephanie Hsu.
Three "Drag Race Philippines" Season 1 queens also were nominated in three different categories, and they all took to social media to share their respective nominations.
Marina Summers vies for the Wowlebrity On The Rise (The Can't Get You Out of My Head Award) category.
"Pilipinas, World, let's make this happen! Make your Filipina Winnah claim her rightful #WOWIES Award!" Marina Summers wrote on Instagram.
On the other hand, Eva Le Queen is nominated in Best Beauty Guru (The Painted Award) category.
"Iba talaga ang gandang Filipina! Such a [huge] honor to have been nominated for a WOWIE!" Eva said.
Last but not least, Prince and "Drag Race Philippines" host Paolo Ballesteros are nominated for the Best Viral Moment for their "The shoes!" moment on Episode 1.

The winners for the WOWIE Awards 2023 will be announced on RuPaul's DragCon set in Los Angeles, California, on May 13.
"Drag Race Philippines" Season 1 premiered in August 2022, where Precious Paula Nicole was named the first-ever Pinoy Drag Superstar.
