Glaiza De Castro helps out husband with coffee shop business; washes dishes, prepares food

Glaiza De Castro is not only a talented actress and singer but a hands-on entrepreneur as well.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Glaiza said she helps out at Brew Box Baler, her coffee shop with husband David Rainey.

"Minsan makikita ako ng mga tao sa Baler naghuhugas ng plato," she said.

"'Di pa ako dumadating sa kape pero nag-pre-prepare ako ng mga foods," she added.

The Sparkle actress said she was not really focused into business before, as she was busy with her showbiz career.

Now, however, she has seen the possibilities of what she can do when she's not taping especially when she is in her hometown.

For Glaiza, it's just like performing a role, but this time in real life.

"Nung Holy Week po, that was our busiest week and nakita ng tao 'yung struggle ko din kasi I was also trying to help David," she said.

"Ang sarap din sa experience na ma-overcome ko 'yun na kahit na hindi ako familiar sa ganitong klase ng set-up," she added.

Glaiza is also active in managing Casa Galura, her bed and breakfast business in Baler.

She told Tito Boy that she was arranging the furniture there and was very happy to receive his wedding gift—a painting that she can hang on the wall.

Glaiza and David married in in Ireland in October 2021 and had another wedding ceremony in Zambales in January.
