A 'Twilight' series is in the works!
Team Edward or Team Jacob debates are set to start again, because a “Twilight” series is in the works!
The Hollywood Reporter’s sources exclusively revealed that “The Twilight Saga,” the successful book series by Stephenie Meyer that was turned into a top film franchise, is getting developed for TV under Lionsgate Television.
Sinead Daly, who has worked on “The Walking Dead: World Beyond,” “The Get Down,” and “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency,” is attached to write the script, the report added. It is still being determined whether the series will be a remake of the books or if it will have a different take.
Still in early development, the “Twilight” series does not have a network or streaming platform yet. There is also no timeline for filming and its premiere.
The first “Twilight” film of the same name was released in 2008. The story follows Bella Swan, who navigates the challenges of life as she falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen.
