Actress who plays Gerri on 'Succession' be like: 'I was there, I'm still in shock'
HBO has just delivered what is arguably the biggest "Succession" episode yet and reactions are coming in strong.
On Twitter, J. Smith-Cameron, the actor who plays Gerri in the series, said "I was there, I'm still in shock."
She didn't refer to the episode per se — or indeed to which storyline in episode 3 she was referring to — but she used the title as a hashtag on her tweet, that's already going viral with more than 8,000 likes as of writing.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Times published a super meta article, an "obituary" for a fictional character, complete with an update with a statement from the fictional children of aforementioned character.
Episode 3, called "Conor's Wedding," is rather massive. We won't spoil anything for you, so allow us to point you to the direction of pop culture website Consequence who said on Twitter to "give Succession all the awards."
"Succession" is on its final season and three episodes in, it's turning out to be a total banger.
If you've reserved the new episode for Monday night viewing, allow us to remind you to please pay attention to the little details! Such as phone calls!
You can watch "Succession" the old fashioned way on HBO or you can stream it on HBO GO.
