'Joker 2' director shares pics of Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga in costume as they wrap up filming

Looks like production for "Joker: Folie à Deux" is going splendidly.

On Instagram, director Todd Philips shared photos of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in their costumes, complete with makeup.

Based on his caption, they've just finished filming.

"That’s a wrap," Philips said. "Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom."

"Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together," he added.

"Joker: Folie à Deux" is the sequel to the hit 2019 film "Joker." Joaquin Phoenix will reprise his role as Joker, while Lady Gaga is reportedly playing Harley Quinn.

The film is set for release in theaters on October 4, 2024.
