Book Depository to cease operations on April 26

Book Depository, a United Kingdom-based online bookstore, is ceasing operations starting on April 26.

The announcement came from Book Depository's official Facebook page on Tuesday.

"We are sorry to let you know that Book Depository will be closing on[ April 26] 2023," Book Depository wrote.

"From all of us at Book Depository[,] we want to say "thank you." Delivering your [favorite] reads to you since 2007 has been a pleasure," the bookstore added.

According to Book Depository, customers can still place their orders until noon on April 26, and the online bookstore will continue to provide support for any order issues until June 2023.

Book Depository was founded in 2004 by Andrew Crawford and Stuart Felton.
