5 'Running Man' episodes to watch ahead of the Manila fanmeet

It's D-Day, PH Runners!

After three years, the much-awaited fan meeting with the members of South Korea’s longest running variety show "Running Man" is happening tonight!

Despite some postponements due to COVID-19, Pinoy fans will now be able to meet, interact, and watch the members perform live at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

As we await the momentous event, here are five "Running Man" moments that are sure to hype you up.

1. The hilarious courage test

The "Running Man" crew is known for putting the members into tests that reveal their hidden fears as well as their deepest weaknesses.

In an episode, Song Ji Hyo burst into tears as she took a "courage" test with fellow members teasing her of what she’s about to touch in the box. A teary-eyed Ji Hyo finished the test by barely touching a rubber scrubber.

2. "Running Man" members versus K-pop idols

In its 13 years on air, the show has guested many celebrities and Korean idols. For their 300th special episode, the cast had a "7 vs. 300" theme where they went against the supergroup BTS in moving 300 boxes of ramen in a truck.

Unleashing the hidden strength and silly strategies, the Bangtan Boys were able to secure the win.

3. Global Races featuring Japan’s Labyrinth of Fear

The show also went to different countries and did some nerve-wrecking challenges and punishments. In their global race finale, five members were chosen to enter Japan’s most haunted place in search of finding their own name tags as punishment.

Amid the multilingual screams, members were able to find their name tags.

4. Manny Pacquiao's guesting

Last year, boxing champ and former Senator Manny Pacquiao also appeared in the show.

Teaming up with Song Ji Hyo and Ji Suk Jin, Pacquiao played a relay speed quiz game as well as a boxing match against Kim Jung Kook and HaHa.

5. The iconic name tag ripping and scary bell

The ultimate game that never fails to make both the cast members and runners around the world burst into laughter — the name tag elimination featuring the scary bell sounds!

Summoning all their remaining strength, with bickering and betrayals on the side, members surely had their own "Running Man way" of surviving until the very end of the race.
