Counter-strike fans can't help but see game visual in this Kitchie Nadal photo in Spain
Fans of first-person shooter game Counter-Strike were tickled on Monday after seeing one of Kitchie Nadal's travel photos in Spain.
The background looked like it came straight from the game visuals: Kitchie and her sister posted on a street with faded brick walls on a sunny day.
In the comments, many nostalgic fans said they were reminded of the game's maps such as de_dust and cs_italy.
"Bomb has been planted on the same ground," read one comment, wittily combining in-game dialogue with Kitchie's song "Same Ground."
The actual photo was taken in Montiel, Spain, where Kitchie and her family joined a medieval festival.
As of writing, the photo has over 7,900 likes and 7,700 shares on Facebook, with nearly a thousand comments from Counter-Strike fans.
SEAesport, a gaming page on Facebook, joined the fun and posted an edited image of Kitchie and her sister with the actual game graphics as background.
The post has over 10,000 likes and 2,400 shares.
