David Licauco signs with Universal Records

David Licauco is on a roll!

According to a post by Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the Pambansang Ginoo just bagged another achievement — he is now part of Universal Records Philippines.

At the contract signing, David was joined by GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle Assistant Vice President Joy Marcelo, Sparkle Talent Manager Jan Navarro, Universal Records PH Managing Director Kathleen Dy-Go, Talent Manager Arnold Vegafria, and Universal Records PH Vice President for Operations Peter Chan.

Fellow Kapuso artist Thea Astley also signed with the label.

David previously released the song “It’s the Best Thing,” which is part of the soundtrack of “Heartful Café.”

He also released “Kailangan Kita,” which is dubbed Klay and Fidel’s theme song from “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” It also got a music video featuring FiLay’s top moments from the historical drama.

David and Barbie Forteza will star in the music video of Ben&Ben’s cover of “The Way You Look at Me.”
