Jason Marvin's song 'Oras,' for the show 'The Write One,' is all about regrets
Jason Marvin graced “Unang Hirit” on Friday to perform “Oras,” the official theme song of the upcoming series “The Write One.”
He also briefly shared the meaning of the song, which reeks of regret.
Speaking to hosts Shaira Diaz and Kaloy Tingcungco, the singer said it's about “having the ability to time travel para itama 'yung mga regrets, itama 'yung mga pagkakamali mo in the past.”
The chorus goes: “Araw-araw pinagsisisihan ko na hinayaan lamang na magkaganito. Kung alam ko lang ito na ang ating hangganan, susulitin ko ang bawat oras na kasama ka.”
Jason was previously married to Moira Dela Torre, but they split in 2022 after revealing that he had been unfaithful.
“The Write One,” produced by GMA Public Affairs, is a romantic drama with a touch of fantasy. It follows married couple Liam (Ruru Madrid) and Joyce (Bianca Umali), who experience some intense problems in their relationship.
Liam finds a mysterious typewriter that allows him to rewrite his love and life story.
However, with this rewriting comes a whole new set of consequences as each character goes through some huge changes in the storylines.
Joining the star-studded cast are Mikee Quintos, Paul Salas, Mon Confiado, Lotlot De Leon, Ramon Christopher, Kokoy De Santos, Royce Cabrera, and Eva Le Queen, among many others.
“The Write One” premieres on March 18 on Viu and March 20 on GMA Network. It is the first collaboration between the two media giants. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
