What to look forward to on Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara's new show 'Zero Kilometers Away'

Fans of Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara have much to look forward to with the stars' upcoming romantic digital series "Zero Kilometers Away."

The show is set to premiere this March 10 at 6 p.m. on the GMA Portal, GMA Public Affairs’ YouTube channel and GMA-owned Facebook pages.

Here's what to expect:

1. The undeniable chemistry of stars Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara.

Following the success of their team-up in the primetime series, "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon," Sparkle Sweethearts Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara are back.

With the new digital show, fans of their loveteam, MavLine, can have another chance to enjoy their undeniable on-screen chemistry.

And even off-screen, the lovebirds make fans feel kilig, so any project of theirs is certainly heart-pumping!

2. A modern and up-to-date story.

"Zero Kilometers Away" takes viewers into the modern world of online dating. Mavy plays Ardi, who dreams of developing a game that will make him a millionaire, while Kyline plays Gwen, a forever single aspiring journalist.

Ardi and Gwen are childhood best friends who navigate online dating apps.

3. High relatability factor for just about everyone at every point in his or her romantic life.

The romance show covers a lot of ground and almost anyone can relate. Do you have a best friend you're in love with or jumped into a romantic relationship with? That's this show's main plotline.

"[There will be] paasa moments, 'Magiging sila na ba?' Or paasa in a way na, 'Sana naman maging sila na.' O 'Lalayo ba 'to?', 'Mami-meet ba siya?', 'Magiging sila ba ng mga meet niya?'" Kyline said.

Do you happen to be a bit older but have been single for a while? Maybe you can also relate to Kyline's character, who has been single all her life and is looking to find a significant other before she finishes school.

Ever been out with a weird or creep date? Kyline's character experiences that on the show, too.

She's also never tried a dating app.

Looking to migrate abroad and don't know if you should start a committed relationship with someone locally? Perhaps you can relate Mavy's character who wants to go to the USA to be with his mom and study his Master's.

"Makakarelate dito 'yung mga naghahanap ng true love. In this day and age, everything's super quick and at the tip of our fingers — like food deliveries, riding apps, and even sa love, instant na via mobile dating apps. It's a thrilling roller coaster ride getting to know different people and knowing the possibility of finding that one true love. But sometimes in reality that one person you want to share your heart with might just be zero kilometers away from you,” said Mavy.

4. A great supporting cast.

Joining Mavy and Kyline on the series are Kara David, Kuya Kim Atienza, Drew Arellano, Iya Arellano, Sparkle artists Caitlyn Stave, Raheel Bhyria, and Kaloy Tingcungco, TikTok sensation Rosmar Tan, Jerome Pamulaklakin, and Gigi Locsin.

And be sure to keep an eye out! More Kapuso personalities are also expected to appear in each episode.

The Kapuso digital series is written by Mario Banzon and directed by Maikel Cardoz.
