GMA Masterclass Series returns to offer lessons and inspiration to students in the Philippines

The award-winning GMA Masterclass Series of GMA Regional TV and Synergy has returned to offer more lessons and inspiration to students all over the Philippines.

According to GMA Regional TV One Mindanao's R-Gil Relator on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the GMA Masterclass: The Icons Series headed to Davao City and General Santos City in Mindanao.

GMA Network Inc. Chief Marketing Officer Lizelle G. Maralag talked to students who are studying marketing, advertising, and more at the St. John Paul II College in Davao.

"I am a firm believer of leadership by example. I will not ask you to do something if I do not know how to do it myself," Maralag said.

At Notre Dame of Dadiangas University in General Santos City, Maralag highlighted the importance of marketing in terms of boosting the economy.

"How can we help the economy in general—I think if we start promoting the products, if we start helping each other, the small and mid-sized businesses," she said.

"By enabling the selling of their goods and services, it is going to be a big help for the economy, if we do our share," she added.

This is the first leg of the GMA Masterclass Series this year.

"In GMA, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of storytelling, journalism, and technology," said Oliver Victor B. Amoroso, First Vice President and Head of GMA Regional TV and Synergy and Acting Head of GMA Integrated News.

"We remain committed?to producing content that brings the best of the Filipino to the world and make it work for the benefit of society in the post-pandemic era," Amoroso added.

Last year, stars like Bianca Umali and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo joined the GMA MasterClass Series.
