Bretman Rock dedicates success to younger self: ‘This is all because of a little Filipino bakla...’
Bretman Rock just finished his book signing events in the Philippines, and he couldn’t be more grateful.
On Tuesday, the 24-year-old Filipino content creator penned a letter dedicated to his younger self and his home country, the Philippines.
“This is all because of a little Filipino Bakla [who] dreamed he was gonna be artista one day [Philippine flag emoji],” he wrote. “And he was going to make it happen one way or another [star emoji].”
“That little boy planted so many seeds for me so that I can flourish today[,] and I’m forever doing everything for him[,] and because of him,” Bretman added.
In his Instagram post, the “You’re That Bitch” author shared photos and videos of himself in Manila and interacting with all his Filipino fans and supporters.
“I’m literally in tears every morning that I’ve been here this week, [I’m] home, this is home[,] and it will forever be HOME,” Bretman said.
“[Thank] you for everything, Philippines. [You] have changed my life forever,” he added.
Bretman arrived in Manila earlier this month for book signing events. His memoir “You’re That Bitch" was recently published.
The content creator’s online career has been skyrocketing for years, with him being named among Forbes’ Top 50 creators of 2022.
In 2021, Bretman also starred in his own MTV digital reality show, “MTV’s Following: Bretman Rock.”
