The exciting teaser for 'Zsazsa Zaturnnah the Musical... 'Yun Lang!' is here!

Are you ready for the return of Zsazsa Zaturnnah?

In the short teaser for ‘Zsazsa Zaturnnah the Musical… ‘Yun Lang!’, viewers were given a taste of what to expect from the hilarious show.

Kim Molina plays the sexy red-haired superheroine. Phi Palmos, Adrian Lindayag, and Shaun Ocrisma will each be taking on the role of Ada.

The teaser shows the three actors as Ada. Zsazsa Zaturnnah, in her iconic magenta costume, falls from the sky, trips, then exits the frame in the wrong direction.

Based on the comic book by illustrator, graphic designer, and playwright Carlo Vergara, the story follows Ada, a gay beautician from the province. After receiving a melon-sized stone with “Zaturnnah!” written on it, Ada swallows the stone, shouts out the name, and transforms into a superhero.

With her super strength, immunity, and indestructible chest, Zsazsa Zaturnnah fights against aliens, zombies, and a giant echoserang frog. The story also discusses issues in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Among those who previously played Zsazsa Zaturnnah are Zsa Zsa Padilla in the film adaptation and Eula Valdez in the Cultural Center of the Philippines stage musical.

The musical is by the Ateneo De Manila University’s Rizal Library, and co-presented by Areté Ateneo and Ateneo Blue Repertory.

It will be held on March 17 to April 2 at the Doreen Black Box Theater, Areté in Ateneo.
