‘Pasilyo,’ ‘Kill Bill,’ ‘Flowers’ among most streamed songs in the Philippines on Valentine’s week

From songs about wedding bells to killing our exes to self-love — we really went through it this Valentine’s.

Spotify Philippines released the most streamed songs in the country from February 10 to 16, or on Valentine's Week, and boy did it feature a diverse range of tracks.

The top song was “Pasilyo” by Olongapo-based band SUNKISSED LOLA, a sweet track about falling in love, and the feeling one gets while seeing your beloved walking down the aisle.

This is followed by SZA’s top hit “Kill Bill,” which is about killing her ex and his new girlfriend.

Another SZA track “Snooze,” about wanting to stay in the moment with a loved one, takes the third spot.

Two danceable songs by NewJeans, “OMG” and “Ditto” are at #4 and #9, respectively.

Miley Cyrus’ empowering self-love anthem “Flowers,” took up the fifth spot.

Other songs that Filipinos streamed that week were “Here With Me” by D4VD, “Mahika” by Adie and Janine Berdin, “Reminder” by The Weeknd, and “Umaasa” by Calein. — LA, GMA Integrated News
