Usher says Blackpink inspired him to make his concerts better

Usher has revealed that seeing Blackpink on stage motivated him to make his concerts better.

Speaking to GQ magazine, Usher said that his sons begged him to take them to a Blackpink concert in Atlanta in the USA last year during the K-pop quartet's "Born Pink" world tour.

"I literally went to a Blackpink concert in Atlanta, and I was like, man! I'm goofy! I'm looking like, 'Wow, this is amazing,'" he said.

"They were putting on a show. Wardrobe, great sequencing, with the lighting and everything working in sync—there's no detail spared. I Ioved that."

Usher said it inspired him to elevate his show as part of his "My Way" Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM hotel, which is currently running until October 2023.

Blackpink will resume their "Born Pink" world tour with stops in Asia and Australia in March, including Manila on March 25 and 26 at the Philippine Arena.
