‘Leonor Will Never Die’ to stream on Netflix this March
“Leonor Will Never Die” will soon stream on Netflix!
According to Netflix's newsletter for upcoming March releases, “Leonor Will Never Die” will premiere on March 17.
Directed by Filipina director Martika Ramirez Esocba, “Leonor Will Never Die” follows the story of Leonor, portrayed by Sheila Francisco, a retired filmmaker who falls into a coma after television land on her head, compelling her to become the action hero of her unfinished screenplay.
Last year, the Filipino-helmed film won the prize World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award: Innovative Spirit at Sundance Film Festival 2022.
In celebration of International Women’s Month in March, aside from “Leonor Will Never Die,” Netflix also announced the premiere of other films centered on women, including "The Glory Part 2" (March 10), "Shadow and Bone: Season 2" (March 16), and "Kill Boksoon" (March 31). —Hermes Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
