Chito Miranda is selling old Parokya ni Edgar gems to raise funds for Gab Chee Kee
Chito Miranda just found gems from Parokya Ni Edgar's colorful past and is now selling them to raise funds for his bandmate Gab Chee Kee.
Among the items that Chito put for bidding is the polo he used for the “Bagsakan” music video. It has his name, and the logo with three stars and a sun.
He is also selling the puppets Mr. Suave and Chito Matsing seen in the “Halina sa Parokya” album cover. It was released in 2005.
“Naghanap ako ng Parokya stuff na pwede ibenta to help out Gab and his family, and found these sa cabinet ko sa bahay ko sa [Quezon City],” he wrote in his Instagram post.
“Baka may interesado kumuha. Please let me know sa comments section sa baba,” he added. “Bigay natin sa magbigay ng best offer.”
As of writing, Chito said in the comments that the polo has received an offer of P115,000, while the puppets are at P35,000.
On Tuesday, Parokya ni Edgar said Gab is now “steadily improving,” but is still in need of help. He was hospitalized due to pneumonia, a complication brought on by his lymphoma and is currently still in the ICU.
There will be three gigs happening on February 25 to help Gab. There’s “RakEnRol4Gab” at 70’s Bistro, “Razorback x P.O.T” at Estancia Mall, and “Bike & Beach 2023” beginning in Alpas, La Union.
