A 'How to Train Your Dragon' live-action movie is in the works!

We're going to see Hiccup and Toothless again — this time in a live-action film!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, original creator Dean DeBlois will be the writer, director and producer of the new "How to Train Your Dragon" movie for Universal Pictures.

It is slated for release in March 14, 2025 release, and casting is already underway, the report added.

This will be DeBlois' live-action debut.

"How to Train Your Dragon" is an animated trilogy by DreamWorks Animation that follows young Viking Hiccup as he befriends the deadly dragon Night Fury. The first movie was released in 2010. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
