Lady Gaga, Joaquin Phoenix unveil the first look at 'Joker' sequel

Joker is back, and this time, he has his queen — or should we say Quinn?

Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix just unveiled the first look at "Joker: Folie à Deux," the sequel to the 2019 "Joker" film, on Instagram.

In the poster, the two are caught in an intense scene that isn't lacking in dramatics. Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) has messy clown makeup on his face, while Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) is clutching is head and staring at him right on.

Lady Gaga was reported to join to sequel in June of last year. Additional reports said the film is going to be a musical .

A spokesperson for film distributor Warner Bros said that "Joker: Folie à Deux" is set for release in theaters on October 4, 2024.
