beadbadoobee releases 'Glue Song' with a music video filmed in Iloilo
beabadoobee is glowing with love and happiness in “Glue Song” — and to make it better, the music video was filmed in her hometown Iloilo!
Originally a fan-favorite unreleased track, the singer said “Glue Song” was her "favourite love song [I’ve] written so far."
"[I] hope this song makes you feel happy as much as it makes me," she added.
The music video was directed by beabadoobee and her boyfriend Jake Erland — for whom she wrote the song — and was shot in Iloilo during her visit there last month. The video featured a lot of Bea’s loved ones.
The Filipina, UK-raised singer said on Instagram, “[I’ve] never smiled so big in a music video before[.]"
“[I] wanted to capture how beautiful [Iloilo] is as [I] haven’t seen much of it on the internet and [I] ought [I] needed that when [I] was growing up,” she added.
She said that the MV contained "a little exclusive snapshot" of her life.
"My lolo planted all those trees in that bit where [I was] walking around in, my lola’s house is where [I] grew up in and visited every year once [I] moved to [London], she cooked me very yummy food,” she said.
The singer also thanked her beloved for the video.
“[Big] love to [Jake] who made this video with me and managed to film me through his eyes (which is probably why [I] am smiling so big) thank you for making my favourite music video so far, [I] haven’t looked this happy in a minute[.]”
beabadoobee was in Manila last year for her first concert in the country. She is one of the special guests on Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.
