MOMOLAND announces disbandment
MOMOLAND is no more.
Members of the K-pop girl group famous for the song "BBoom BBoom" shared handwritten letters on Instagram to announce their disbandment. They are parting ways after over six years.
"After a long, deep discussion, the six of us members have decided to support each other to have a great new beginning going forward," they said.
"Even though we have decided to take our own paths towards our dreams, Us MOMOLAND will always be a team," they added.
Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy thanked their fans, the Merries, for the "precious memories."
"Our Merries have been everything to us and always will be," they said. "We are deeply sorry that we couldn’t let you guys know sooner, but sincerely thank each and everyone that has patiently waited for us."
"Moving forward, please continue to support and love MOMOLAND and each and every member’s path," they added.
MOMOLAND debuted in 2016 with the mini album "Welcome to Momoland."
Just in November, they visited the Philippines to perform at the "Ripples For Hope 2022: A K-pop Friendship Day & Night." —JCB, GMA Integrated News
