SUGA of BTS announces upcoming solo tour as Agust D
This announcement has already got us rapping “Daechwita” at the top of our lungs!
SUGA of BTS is set to embark on his first solo tour as his alter ego, Agust D. The South Korean rapper made the announcement in a livestream on Weverse and on his Instagram page.
The tour kicks off in the US, with a two-night show at the UBS Arena, Belmont Park in New York, on April 26 and 27. Agust D is also headed to New Jersey, Illinois, and California.
By late May, Agust D will have his Asian leg of the tour, starting with three concerts in Jakarta, Indonesia. He will then have two-night shows in Bangkok, Thailand, Singapore, and Seoul, South Korea.
Japan dates have yet to be announced.
Agust D has released two mixtapes, a self-titled one released in 2016, and “D-2,” which dropped in 2020.
Some of his top songs include “People,” “28,” “Give It to Me,” “Tony Montana,” and “So Far Away.”
