'Ang Huling El Bimbo' tickets go on sale next week

Save the date and get your wallets ready for a night out at the theater, because tickets for the “Ang Huling El Bimbo” musical will be available next week!

According to the video announcement, tickets will be available on February 14.

They will be available for purchase at the Newport World Resorts Box Office, or via SM Tickets and TicketWorld. Ticket prices are yet to be announced.

“Ang Huling El Bimbo” debuted in 2018 and features at least 40 of the Eraserheads’ lyrics and melodies. After years of online streams, the musical’s restaging is set to happen back at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in April.

The story follows a group of four friends, who navigate university life. Later on as adults, their past gives them problems with their work and personal lives.

Jamie Wilson plays the corrupt councilor Arturo Banlaoi. Other cast members include Sparkle artist Anthony Rosaldo as young Hector, Gab Pangilinan as young Joy, Gian Magdangal as the older Hector, Bullet Dumas as Emman, Paw Castillo as young Emman, Topper Fabregas as young Anthony.

Auditions for the restaging were opened in July 2022.
