Makoto Shinkai's 'Suzume no Tojimari' is headed to the Philippines soon

Makoto Shinkai's latest anime film is headed to Philippine theaters!

Warner Bros. Pictures announced that "Suzume no Tojimari" will be released in local cinemas "soon."

The film was released in November 2022 in Japan. It is Shinkai's first film since 2019's "Weathering With You."

In 2016, he released "Your Name," which went on to become one of the highest-grossing anime films of all time.

"Suzume no Tojimari" who discovers portal doors leading to different areas in Japan. Together with Souta, they attempt to close the doors as the portals bring destruction to the places they appear in.
