Niall Horan, Liam Payne congratulate Harry Styles on his Grammys win for album of the year
Liam Payne and Niall Horan just woke up the sleeping hearts of Directioners!
After Harry Styles bagged album of the year for "Harry's House" at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, his former One Direction members expressed their pride.
On Instagram Monday, Liam posted a black and white photo of the "As It Was" hitmaker looking happily at his Grammys trophy.
"Wow," Liam began. "This image is really something to wake up to[,] and when you write music like you do[,] Harry[,] you deserve every millisecond of that moment looking down smiling at the trophy you've earned."
"God bless you[,] brother. [Congratulations,]" the "Strip That Down" singer added.
Meanwhile, on Instagram Stories, Niall posted a photo of Harry performing live at the Grammys.
Tagging Harry on the caption, Niall wrote, "Very proud" with a red heart emoji.
One Direction, composed of Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson, announced an indefinite hiatus in 2016 after Zayn left the band in 2015. Among the former band's hit songs were "What Makes You Beautiful," "Perfect," and "Story of My Life."
In 2021, Liam and Louis remembered One Direction's 11th anniversary on social media despite the band's indefinite hiatus.
