R'Bonney Gabriel is undeniably Pinoy with this quirk

R'Bonney Gabriel is the first Filipino-American to win Miss Universe, and she's proud to represent both sides of her heritage for all the world to see.

While she carried the flag of the United States in the pageant, she is undeniably Pinoy in more ways than one—especially when it comes to cultural quirks.

In the latest episode of "Updated With Nelson Canlas," R'Bonney said she picks  things up with her feet like a true blue Filipino.

"You know I never really realized that that was something different until I did that around my friends that weren't Filipino, and they were like, 'What did you just do?' And to me it was so natural to pick up something with my feet," she said.

Of course, R'Bonney is also no stranger to family gatherings with hearty meals and karaoke sessions.

"I cannot sing, but I will sing if I have to, if my family do karaoke. And I feel like were always enjoying good food," she said.

She confessed her favorite food is ensaymada, and she loves it so much she can eat as many as seven pieces in one sitting!

R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe 2022 in January. She is the first Miss USA to win the title since Olivia Culpo in 2012.
