'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' has found its Zeus and Poseidon
Two of the three most powerful gods, Zeus and Poseidon, are here!
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" has announced that it cast Lance Reddick as Zeus and Toby Stephens as Poseidon.
On Twitter, they posted a photo of the pair with Walker Scobell, who will play Percy.
The show completed its casting of the main trio — Percy, Annabelle, and Grover — in May last year. They also announced that "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will play Hermes, the trickster and divine messenger of the gods.
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" is Disney's live action series adaptation of Rick Riordan's book of the same title. It has been in the works as early as May 2020.
It follows Percy, a once normal boy who discovers he is the son of Poseidon when he comes of age.
We heard your calls all the way from Olympus. Welcome to #PercyJackson and the Olympians.
