Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni to star in adaptation of Colleen Hoover's 'It Ends with Us'
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are set to star in the movie adaption of the Colleen Hoover novel “It Ends with Us.”
According to an exclusive report on Deadline, Justin will also direct the film, Blake and Colleen will be executive producers, and Christy Hall will adapt the script.
This is Blake’s first acting project in three years after “The Rhythm Section” in 2020. The “Gossip Girl” actress debuted as a director in 2021 for the Taylor Swift music video “I Bet You Think About Me.”
Justin is best known for starring in “Jane the Virgin.” He has been doing more work behind the camera in recent years and directed the films “Five Feet Apart” and “Clouds.”
The best-selling and viral romance novel follows Lily Bloom, who adjusts to a new, abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid. After a chance meeting with her first love Atlas Corrigan, their relationship is challenged.
The “It Ends with Us” movie was first announced in July.
