Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo expecting first child together
Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo are expecting their first child together!
Benj shared the wonderful news on Instagram, Sunday, with photos of several pregnancy tests bearing a positive result.
"Finally, after many years of trying, we are now having a baby. Just to give you a background, mababa po ang sperm count ko and that is one of the reasons kaya hirap kami ng asawa ko."
"This is the best wedding anniversary gift sa 'min ni Lord," he wrote. "2023, sabi nila swerte ako kasi year of the rabbit ako, pero mas kumapit ako sa promise ni Lord sa 'min."
According to Benj, he would just continue praying for the Lord's perfect timing, and this happens to be it.
"This time, we will cherish every moment sa new chapter ng buhay namin. Ang anak namin, si Crisha and si Nathan, magkaka kapatid na after how many years and we're blessed to have God beside us."
"If [you're losing] hope, this is your sign that anything can happen if you believe and trust in the Lord."
Lovely, meanwhile, shared the news with a video of how she broke the news to Benj. They have been trying for three years, she said.
The couple tied the knot in January 2021. While Lovely has a daughter named Crisha, Benj is already a father to Nathan.
