TWICE's "Moonlight Sunrise" has been on everyone's playlist since its release, but did you know that a Filipina co-wrote its lyrics?
On Twitter, Nina Nelson proudly raised the Philippine flag when a netizen asked if it's true that a Pinay was part of the "Moonlight Sunrise" team.
"It's true, baby, it's me," she wrote with the hashtag #MoonlightSunrise.

Nina also shared on TikTok a snippet of their demo which was taken the same day that they wrote the song.

"Moonlight Sunrise," released Friday, is also co-written by earattack, Kaedi Dalley, and Lee Woo Hyun.
As of this writing, the song has garnered over 5.3 million streams on Spotify while its music video has 30 million views on YouTube.
"Moonlight Sunrise" is TWICE's second English track after "The Feels," which was released in 2021.
