Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz drop swoon-worthy version of 'Pag-ibig Na Kaya'
Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz took their chemistry to the next level.
The couple finally released their first-ever official collaboration — their version of their duet of “Pag-ibig Na Kaya,” which was originally performed by Christian Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go in the mid-2000s. The song was the official soundtrack of the K-Drama “Princess Hours,” when it aired as a primetime show in the Philippines.
Julie Anne and Rayver also prepared a special and kilig-filled performance video for their version.
They’ve been doing and posting fun and super sweet song covers online for a while now, and had a very successful JulieVerse concert last year. Because of this, the ballad effortlessly demonstrates both Julie Anne and Rayver’s vocal chops.
A few hours after the release, it hit Number 3 on iTunes Philippines and was part of the New Music Friday Philippines playlist on Spotify.
A two-part cinematic visual will also be unveiled to support and celebrate the release.
The “Pag-ibig Na Kaya” miniseries aims to bring happiness to the couple’s loyal supporters. It will premiere on Universal Records Philippines’ official YouTube channel on February 3.
Also part of the cast are Korean stars Kim Won-shik and JAYDEN. It is written by JP Lopez and directed by Niq Ablao.
