Olivia Culpo has a perfect response to netizens' comments about her hosting skills
Do you remember that many netizens called out Olivia Culpo for "lacking energy" during her Miss Universe 2021's hosting stint?
Following the announcement that Culpo will be back as a co-host for Miss Universe 2022, Olivia responded to the netizens' comments by posting a TikTok video on Saturday.
Hopping on the "My Heart Will Go On" trend, the Miss Universe 2012 wrote in her video, "On my way to get Red Bull before hosting Miss Universe because user26263747482 said I need more energy this year."
It seemed as if Olivia took the negative comments as constructive criticism to better her hosting this year and didn't mind making fun of herself in the process.
"#MissUniverse, I'm on my way!" she wrote, punctuated with an electric plug, battery, and laughing face emojis.
"[If you know, you know]," she added.
As of writing, Olivia's TikTok has garnered over 400,000 views and more than 36,000 likes.
Joining Culpo as this year's Miss Universe hosts is Jeannie Mai Jenkins. Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be one of this year's backstage commentators, together with "American Ninja Warrior" co-host Zuri Hall.
The Miss Universe 2022 is on January 14 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Over 85 candidates, including Philippine bet Celeste Cortesi, will compete for the most-coveted pageant crown.
