Fireworks light up Philippine skies to celebrate New Year 2023
The Philippine skies were filled with color as Filipinos lit up fireworks to celebrate the coming of 2023.
On Sunday, GMA Integrated News reporter Raffy Tima provided a cool drone shot showing fireworks of different hues being lit up above city lights.
The same transpired for Quezon City residents, as seen on Super Radyo dzBB desk editor Rhommel Balasbas’ footage from the GMA Network Center.

The Manila skyline was also all aglow with fireworks as the new year was ushered in, as seen in this photo taken by Danny Pata.
With things slowly going back to normal after two years of facing COVID-19, a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey revealed that 95% of Filipinos entered the New Year with hope.
