Crowds gather for MMFF 2022’s ‘Parade of Stars’
Crowds flocked to the streets of Quezon City on Wednesday for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2022’s “Parade of Stars.”
As seen on Oscar Oida’s “24 Oras” report, netizens waited in streets from Welcome Rotonda to Quezon City Memorial Circle.
While some were excited to see stars, others just couldn’t help but celebrate this event after it was a no-show on the streets because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MMFF 2022 “Parade of Stars” featured eight floats that represent each film on this year’s lineup.
Last year, the parade was done on ferry boats from the Guadalupe Ferry Station to circuit Makati, and online in 2020 due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
