Ben&Ben issues apology over homecoming concert's queuing fiasco: 'We hear you'
Ben&Ben has apologized to all their fans who experienced difficulties on the day of their recently concluded homecoming concert at SMDC Festival Grounds last Sunday.
On Instagram, the Filipino folk-pop band wrote an apology letter to their fans, whom they fondly call “Liwanag.”
After acknowledging the success of the #BenAndBenHomecoming2022, which the band described as an “unforgettable night of music and emotions shared between the band Liwanag,” Ben&Ben expressed how sorry they are for the mishaps during the concert.
“We hear you. We feel your pain, frustration, and anger,” they said.
“We’d like to sincerely apologize to those of you who had a deeply stressful experience with the queuing, the entry into the venue, and the general gaps in the organization of the event,” they added.
They also promised to be more “vigilant with everyone involved in the planning and preparations" of their engagements to ensure what happened in their homecoming concert won’t repeat itself in future concerts.
“While we can’t undo the pains that you’ve been through, we can help make things right moving forward,” they added.
Ben&Ben ended their heartfelt statement by saying how grateful they are for their legion of fans who continuously support them with their endeavors.
“Thank you for coming to the #BenAndBenHomecoming2022 concert. Every song we sang was for all of you,” they said.
Ben&Ben’s homecoming concert was originally their supposed send-off concert before they flew out to their United States and Canada tour, but it got postponed due to heavy rains. —Hermes Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
