Nico Bolzico celebrates Argentina's World Cup triumph, thanks wife Solenn for letting him fly to Qatar

Nico Bolzico witnessed history with his own eyes as his beloved Argentina beat France in penalties to become the 2022 FIFA World Cup champion.

On Instagram, Monday, Nico shared a reel of his experience watching the game from the stadium in Qatar, cheering together with his fellow Argentines.

He also penned a lengthy caption trying to capture his feelings over the success of his country's national team, saying that it's difficult to explain to non-football fans.

"We grow up playing football, regardless if you are good or bad at it; dad taking you to the stadium is one of your first childhood memories; some of your best memories are about football; you made friends because of football; we can spend hours talking about football; you cry for football; football is part of your culture and DNA," Nico wrote.

"It doesn't make sense, it is not rational, it is just an emotion!"

Nico also shared his thoughts on what the game meant for Argentina and paid tribute to team captain Lionel Messi.

"This game was the most important game in Argentine Football history. A country divided in two, suffering from years of adverse economy conditions, that for the first time in a long while, felt as one," he said.

"Today the country looks at a new idol, a great footballer but most importantly a great person, who always put family first, a great example for the kid growing up!"

Of course, Nico did not end his message without expressing his gratitude to his wife Solenn Heussaff, who recently gave birth to their second baby girl.

"PS: thanks Bebu for allowing me to be here. On my way back to you and the girls! Love you!" Nico said.

Congratulations to Argentina and safe travels, Nico!
