Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera give house tour of Casa Dantes
Dingdong Dantes credited his wife Marian Rivera for making Casa Dantes not just a house but a home.
As seen on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen welcomed Pia Arcangel in their new abode and shared their favorite spots.
The couple also revealed their roles while they were having the house built: Dingdong was hands-on in overseeing the construction, while Marian put the finishing touches that brightened up their home.
"Mas nabuhay siya nung nilagyan ni Marian nung mga maliliit na bagay, mas naging homey, mas naging tahanan," Dingdong said.
"Parang sa samahan lang namin, binibuhay niya parati 'yung relationship," he added.
Marian said the two of them have different tastes when it comes to decoration styles, but they managed to reach a compromise as they worked together to get their house ready for occupation.
The house took four years to be finished, but Dingdong said Casa Dantes, as a dream, really took over two decades to build.
"'Yung dream is not just really the structure, it's not just the house, but the people you're with inside," he said.
"And parang sa 'kin 'yung dream na 'yun is not really the house eh, but us being together as a family."
Marian and Dingdong tied the the knot in 2014. They have two children, Zia and Sixto.
