ENHYPEN thanks Pinoy ENGENEs for warm welcome in Manila

ENHYPEN expressed their gratitude to Filipino ENGENEs for the warm welcome they received when they arrived in Manila early Saturday.

As seen in Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunoo said via a translator that it is the group's first time to visit the Philippines.

He added that they have been getting plenty of messages and comments of support from Pinoy ENGENEs, but it was another thing to feel the cheers and passion in person.

"They were all waiting for us at the airport, they had like a lot of banners," Jake said, speaking fluent English. "I heard they sang Polaroid love when they were waiting."

"We're very sorry that we couldn't really stop by and say hi but we all saw them when we're inside the car," he added.  "We really appreciate it and thank you guys so much."

ENHYPEN flew to Manila for a fan meet in celebration of the 10th anniversary of beauty brand BYS.

The group, which debuted in 2020, is composed of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki.

Popular for their songs "FEVER," "Drunk-Dazed," and "Blessed-Cursed," ENHYPEN will return to Manila for a two-day concert in February.

"I wanna shoutout our fans, ENGENEs," Jake said. "They've been giving us so much love and support and that's the only reason we were able to come this far so thank you guys so much."
