It's not CGI! Thing in 'Wednesday' is played by a real actor
Thing is arguably the MVP of the show "Wednesday," but you know who the bigger MVP is? The actor who plays him!
And yes, he is apparently portrayed by an actor — although Thing appears only as a living (albeit dismembered) hand, he is not computer-generated.
According to a post by Netflix, Victor Dorobantu is the one behind the well-loved character.
As seen in the photos, Dorobantu wears a blue bodysuit while making his hand walk, dance, and, of course, pick locks for his scenes.
"Give a big hand to Victor Dorobantu, the incredible actor who plays Thing on Wednesday," Netflix said.
And it's all worth it, because what would the show be without Thing?
Thing T. Thing, referred to simply as Thing, is a fictional character from the Addams Family lore.
In Tim Burton's "Wednesday," he follows Wednesday Addams into her new life in Nevermore Academy.
Released last Wednesday, the series has become the top watched title in Netflix Philippines. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
