Cinema ’76 Film Society to reopen in Tomas Morato with QCinema Int’l Film Festival shows


The wait is over. Cinema ’76 Film Society is finally reopening in Tomas Morato!

To mark their return, the micro-cinema will feature shows from the 10th QCinema International Film Festival from November 23 to 25.

Among the movies you can catch include Makbul Mubarak's “Autobiography,” which “uses a fictitious election campaign as the backdrop for his moody thriller with metaphorical context.”

There’s also the award-winning film “Plan 75” by Chie Hayakawa. It shows how the government “lures the elderly to sign up for a mysterious life-and-death scheme.” It stars Pinay actress Stefanie Arianne.

You can also catch “Arnold is a Model Student,” French LGBT drama “Stranger by the Lake,” and 2018 film “Billie & Emma.”

Here is the screening schedule from November 23 to 25. Tickets are priced at P240 each.
