‘Don’t Worry Darling’ is premiering on HBO Go this November
“Don’t Worry Darling” is premiering on HBO Go on November 13.
Set in the 1950s, it revolves around the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families.
In the community, husbands spend each day inside headquarters as they work on the “development of progressive materials.” Wives, meanwhile, get to enjoy beauty, luxury, and debauchery.
All these until “cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear.” Just how and why are they in Victory?
Directed by Olivia Wilde, “Don’t Worry Darling” stars Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Chris Pine.
It premiered at the 79th Venice Film Festival last September with quite a controversy, with Wilde dismissing rumors of a rift with Pugh after the latter skipped the news conference ahead of the screening. — LA, GMA Integrated News
