Bretman Rock to release first memoir 'You’re That Bitch' in 2023
Bretman Rock — beauty mogul, content creator, the baddest, and now, author!
The Filipino makeup artist announced his first memoir called “You're That Bitch & Other Cute Lessons About Being Unapologetically Yourself.”
“Hello [world,] I would like you to formally meet Bretman Rock Sacayanan,” he said on Instagram.
The book’s cover shows him looking like the absolute baddest in a royal blue suit, plus photos from his childhood and teen years, his journal, and an excerpt from the book.
According to publisher HarperCollins, “You're That Bitch” is a collection of essays from one of the internet’s original influencers who rose to fame when he was a teenager.
With Bretman’s signature hilarious takes, the book also promises to be honest. In the book’s exclusive teaser, Bretman started to open up about who he is on social media, and who he is in real life.
“So you probably know Bretman Rock the comedian and extrovert who pole dances and calls everybody ‘bitch,’ but you don’t really don’t know Bretman Sacayanan. These Bretmans are two different people, but they are both 1,000 percent me,” Bretman wrote in the memoir’s intro.
The book will also touch on Bretman’s childhood in the Philippines, his family, Filipino culture, and being a first-generation immigrant. There will also be some discussions about cancel culture, drama, heartbreak, and self-love.
