Taylor Swift drops highly awaited album 'Midnights'
Are you ready to cry to "Midnights"?
Taylor Swift finally released her highly anticipated new album on Friday and all 13 tracks are available for streaming on digital platforms.
On Instagram, the American singer-songwriter said it was "a wild ride of an album," which she worked on closely with Jack Antonoff.
"This is our first album we’ve done with just the two of us as main collaborators. We’d been toying with ideas and had written a few things we loved, but Midnights actually really coalesced and flowed out of us when our partners (both actors) did a film together in Panama," Taylor said. "Jack and I found ourselves back in New York, alone, recording every night, staying up late and exploring old memories and midnights past."
"Midnights is a collage of intensity, highs and lows and ebbs and flows. Life can be dark, starry, cloudy, terrifying, electrifying, hot, cold, romantic or lonely. Just like Midnights.," she added. "Which is out now."
Previously, she said "Midnights" contains "the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout [her] life."
Not counting her re-recorded albums "Red" and "Fearless," Taylor's last full-length releases were "Folklore" and "Evermore" in 2020. —JCB, GMA News
