Former pep squad member busts out moves while playing Chinese garter with street kids

A former gymnast and cheerleader flexed her skills while playing a popular 90s childhood game—Chinese garter.

According to Vonne Aquino's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Saturday, Kimuel Lalas is nearing 30 years old but her abilities are still on par with a "mother" in Ten-Twenty.

In a video, Kim added flair to her jumps by executing tumbling moves during her turns.

"Nakita namin 'yung mga batang Tramo na nagte-ten-twenty sila so sumali kami, nakigulo kami," she said about the video.

("We saw the children they were playing Ten-Twenty so we joined the chaos.")

Kim is a former member of the National University Pep Squad and was also a cheerleader at Arellano University.

She said she has been practicing gymnastics since she was five years old and made it to the Palarong Bicol and Palarong Pambansa since she was in Grade 5.

As a former athlete, Kim advised children and teenagers to engage in exercise.

"You should add physical activities para ma-maintain nyo 'yung body n'yo, 'yung mind, 'yung health and of course para meron tayong interaction sa ibang tao, hindi lang po puro sa gadgets," she said.
