Philippine bet Gabrielle Basiano finishes in the Top 20 of Miss Intercontinental


The Philippines’ bet Gabrielle Basiano finished her Miss Intercontinental pageant journey in the Top 20.

Binibining Pilipinas made the announcement on Instagram, thanking Gabrielle for raising the country's flag.

 

 

 

“We are so proud of you!” the pageant organization said in an Instagram post.

In the pre-pageant events, Gabrielle stunned in her swimsuit and Ibong Adarna-inspired national costume. The beauty queen aimed for a back-to-back win for the Philippines.

In the ceremony held in Sharm El Sheik on Saturday (Manila time), Cinderella Faye Obeñita crowned her successor, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc of Vietnam.

Mariela Pepin of Puerto Rico was named first runner-up. The other runners-up include Cecilia Almeda of Brazil, Joy Raimi Mojisola of Nigeria, Tatjana Genrich of Germany, and Emmy Carrero of Venezuela. —JCB, GMA News
