Raymund Marasigan reveals Ely Buendia has 'a really good idea' about Eheads reunion concert setlist
In the latest episode of the pocast "Offstage Hang," Raymund Marasigan answered questions from netizens about the upcoming reunion concert of The Eraserheads.
Among the questions asked was the concert's setlist, which Raymund said the four Eheads only started discussing during the photoshoot that took place Friday before the Monday announcement.
"Of course you don't want to redo the last show," Raymund began, saying there are different ways they could go about it — "How deep are you going to go with the album cuts, how do you want to present yung mga obligado na songs," he continued.
The surprise little reveal came when Raymund said, "Ely has a good idea, [but] we do not know if we can pull it off."
He really can't say anything more about Ely's idea because "we haven't rehearsed it."
Raymund however emphasized that it's "really interesting" and that's "it's a little ambitious — but possible."
"I cannot unleash it until we rehearse it," Raymund ended.
In the pod, where the Sandwich frontman shared his thoughts on Ehead Marcus Adoro and the issues surrounding him, Raymund narrated how the reunion concert came about. According to him, discussions about holding another reunion show had actually been going on for several years already but that the four members of the monumental band have only met a grand total of...two times.
At the meeting, which he earlier described as awkward, and the following day at the photoshoot, which Raymund also described as awkward.
