Are Eraserheads making a comeback? Band members share cryptic teaser
This could either be “Ligaya” or “Maling Akala.”
The four Eraserheads members posted photos of an upside-down E — a key part of their band logo — on Instagram on Saturday and it got fans wondering whether this is a teaser of a reunion.
Buddy Zabala further teased fans in his caption by writing, “Let me hear you sing it,” from their hit “With A Smile.”
The comments section in every member’s post is filled with fans expressing their excitement at the hint of a new project from them.
Eraserheads have yet to officially announce an upcoming reunion, concert, or song.
With a lineup of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan, Eraserheads are among the Philippines’ most legendary bands and paved the way for rock bands.
The band had a memorable reunion concert back in 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
Eraserheads are best known for “Ang Huling El Bimbo,” “Pare Ko,” “Magasin,” and many more.
Fingers crossed that this is the reunion we’ve been waiting for! —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
